Bhogi Blues in Dubai: My Matchstick Fire Miracle
Today’s Bhogi, and I’m in Dubai🇦🇪, feeling a bit homesick. Bhogi back home is all about family, a big bonfire, delicious South Indian food🍱, and laughter filling the air. We start with lighting wood🪵, followed by a refreshing head bath (because, let’s be honest, who doesn’t need a soak after all that fire?), then feast and stroll through the paddy fields🌾. But today, I don’t have all of that. Instead, I decided to light a few matchsticks to create my own Miniature Fire🔥 a tiny spark of nostalgia. It wasn’t quite the grand bonfire from home, but it worked! My mood shifted, and I felt a little bit closer to the celebration. Sometimes, it’s the small things that lift our spirits.
